Лаборатория клеточной нейробиологии обучения

Краткая история и основные направления научной работы лаборатории

Лаборатория была создана в 1989 году на основе группы, проводившей исследования на беспозвоночных животных, входившей в состав лаборатории академика П.В.Симонова. 
Основные направления научной работы – клеточные механизмы организации поведения и модификаций поведения в результате обучения, клеточные и молекулярные механизмы памяти. Наряду с традиционными электрофизиологическими методами в лаборатории активно применяются оптические методы регистрации и конфокальная микроскопия. В качестве объекта исследования используются животные с простой нервной системой или срезы мозга позвоночных животных. 
Международное сотрудничество – с Йельским Университетом (США) в области оптических методов, с Аризонским Университетом (США) в области анализа нейронных сетей крылоногих моллюсков, с Институтом нейрофизиологии Университета в Бохуме (Германия) и c университетом Коннектикута (США) в области синаптических механизмов пластичности.
